Did I mention how extra I am!? I’m that person that changes their tablescapes every time a new season or holiday rolls around. I just recently removed my fall tablescape décor and replaced it with my Christmas décor.
Since I like the swap things out so often, I made it a goal to go as neutral as possible. I decided to keep most expensive pieces neutral and add splashes of color here and there. I fell in love with these agate chargers and have managed to keep those year-round (whoot, whoot!), along with my dinner napkins. I swapped out my napkin rings and plates but managed to find these super simple dinner/salad plates from Pottery Barn. I know some of you are thinking “Pottery Barn??? That place is expensive!” … Not when you’re shopping during a sale and adding a coupon on top of it! I stalk their website pretty often to see what’s on sale. If I purchase something and I notice that it went on sale, I will have the items price adjusted OR I will return everything and buy it again. It sounds like a lot but if it saves me money, I’m down for it!
As I mentioned, changing my table is my jam! This year I came across some simple white Christmas dinnerware. I added these reindeer napkins rings to my cream ombréd dinner napkins. If I decided to host a dinner, I could easily slip our guests’ names into the napkin ring holder. I placed the napkins on top of my dinner plates, which are stacked on top of my chargers. I chose these plates because I’m truly a gold lover at heart. Since they’re trimmed in gold, it gave me that splash of gold that I’m yearning for. I don’t really like adding drinkware because then it begins to look cluttered. I usually aim to add a simple center piece. This time around I found a pre-lit ornament light up garland and placed it inside of a long silver boat. Every night around the same time, the garland automatically illuminates.
Some of these items actually maybe on sale right now. If you’re interested, don’t sleep on it … Head over to Pottery Barn’s website!
Unitil next time …
