In-Home Date Night Solutions

Let’s be real, we don’t know what “date-night” is … we take our kids everywhere we go. Majority of the time I cook but when we do go out to dinner you can look across the table and find our three beautiful children sitting there. The only person I trust to leave my little ones with is my mother who’s located across country. So my husband and I usually find things within our home to do. Who said you had to go out & spend money to enjoy spending time with your other half?

TV Shows

HGTV and the Food Network are our favorite channels to watch. I could tell you everything about Chip & Joanna Gaines’s show. You can basically find us watching anything dealing with flipping a home. Another show that we use to love was American Odessey! That was actually a really good show that  NBC stopped airing. That was the only show my husband looked forward to watching weekly.

Games

Being that both my husband and I are super competitive we have a few games that we like to play. When I say competitive I mean competitive! He will NEVER willingly let me win. ? … Like ever! You know most men will at least let their wife win sometimes! But nope, not my husband! There’s a lot of trash talking that takes place from the both of us. Believe it or not we still play Pixduel when he’s traveling.

We just recently added Bingo to the mix. YES Bingo! It’s actually quite entertaining for the both of us. Of course my husband likes to make sure he wins so we play for money! That makes it a little more worth while (for me at least). So basically he gives me money to play … ONLY TO BEAT ME AND TAKE IT BACK! ??‍♀️

I actually found a vintage bingo set on Pottery Barn’s website. The quality is great! I think it was worth the price. My husband isn’t a fan of gifts but I gave it him as one of his Christmas gifts and he was actually excited about it. Bingo has now been added to our in-home date night list.
